Help For Heroes Fundraising ID: 34120912-3279-2407 The Expedition My name is Max Keene and I am 13 years old. I am planning on attempting an Arctic expedition in Northern Canada, on the 26th of March 2013 in aid of 'Help For Heroes’, a charity that provides invaluable support for the wounded servicemen and women that protect us all, in Great Britain and around the World. The Baffin Island Traverse is about 130km and will take about 2 weeks to complete in temperatures ranging from -20 to -50 degrees centigrade. Baffin Island is populated by Inuit people who bravely endure these conditions every day, but for me it will be the biggest challenge of my life. According to Canadian authorities if I am succesful I will be the youngest British person ever to achieve the crossing. I’m doing my bit, there is no doubt that they’ve done their bit, please give generously.
